Sunday, November 06, 2005 Hola everyone!
This has been both an exciting and historic week here in Alpedrete. On Monday, we were given approval from city hall to
have an outreach center and church in the storefront building that we wanted to rent. (That in itself is AMAZING, considering
that the pueblo has never had an evangelical church in its 500-year history!) On Wednesday, we signed the contract with the
owner of the local to rent the facility. We are so thankful for his patience with us as we've been waiting for the paperwork
from city hall to go through. On Thursday, we had an Alpedrete Team meeting with the Edgmons and began a task list of things
that will need to be done before we can open. Needless to say, it was quite a long list, and we are now trying to tackle each
item. Pray for us to have wisdom in each step of the way. We can't say THANK YOU enough for your prayers for us. God has truly
been faithful to supply this need. (You can see our team in front of the center in the attached photo.)
On a different note, we are also thankful for Kristi's home church, Westside FWB Church, that is celebrating its Jubilee
Homecoming today. Many years of training and consistent praying went in to sending out their first missionary (Kristi). Fifty
years after her church was started, we see a direct result of their ministry because we are now in the beginning stages of
a new church all the way across the world. ¡Felicidades, Westside, in your Jubilee Homecoming!
We hope your week is great!

Sunday, October 23, 2005 Hola everyone!
We can't thank you enough for your prayers for us this past week as we waited on the Alpedrete town hall board meeting,
which took place on Friday.
During that meeting, our papers were presented asking for permission to open an outreach center and church in the storefront
building we're planning to rent. We hope to have their answer this coming week. BUT DON'T STOP PRAYING because we still have
many steps to take if their answer is "yes".
Pray that God will guide us in this process.
Today in the Villalba Church, the kids sang:
"Cristo ama a los niños,
Pues los niños son de Él,
No le importa tu color,
Sólo quiere tu amor,
Cristo ama a los niños por igual."
(In English, this is "Jesus Loves the Little Children".) We sang this song in many of your churches as we visited and shared
about Spain this past year. As you can see in the attached photo, the children here also enjoy singing this song!
Thanks for taking time to read our updates and pray for us. Have a great week!

Sunday, September 18, 2005 Hola!
We want to thank you for your prayers this past week for Alejandro (and
Emily) as they began Spanish school. Tuesday was his first day, and we were pleasantly surprised to be invited into the
building by the principal for a tour. Although on the outside it still looked like a construction site, the inside was freshly
painted and finished...right down to the child-sized toilets and sinks. You can see Alejandro coming out of school on his
first day. (No doubt...he was HAPPY to be back in school!)
Our house has seemed like the multi-national gathering place this week. On Tuesday, a pastor from one of our FWB churches
in Uruguay arrived in Spain.
He was then joined by Steve and Judy Lytle, from our home office in Nashville. Today we have a young lady, Liz, with us
from England. She grew up as an MK in Chile, but has recently come to Spain to teach in the British school in Alpedrete. Needless
to say, we enjoy having lots of company and spending time with believers from all over the world.
Please pray for us this week as we continue to make plans for our Outreach Center in Alpedrete. It seems as if the Lord
is opening doors for us to be able to have a place to rent soon. We'll send more details as we have them!
Have a great week!

Sunday, August 28, 2005 Hola!
This past week, the person who led Tim to the Lord passed away with a heart attack. He was only 52 years old. Please pray
for Dave Frizzell's family during this difficult time.
Please pray for the baptisms the Villalba Church will be having next Sunday. There are three people who will be baptized.
This is usually a time when unsaved people attend, and they are able to hear a clear presentation of the Gospel and the testimonies
of those being baptized.
Continue praying for the work in Alpedrete. Not only are we trying to build relationships with people in order to share
Christ with them, we are also looking for places in which to open our outreach center and we are making plans for this next
year.
Thanks for your prayers. Have a great week.
Tim, Kristi, Alejandro, and Ana
